EQ PATCHER? continue, message, problem, through, button

Got my new desktop up and all set up.. Only problem now is I go to Everquest.com and click the green button that says play for free now. So I can run patcher but it keeps givin error message half way through patcher, saying it can't continue

click your notepad.exe -> type"eqgame.exe patchme" ->save as *.bat ->move it to your Everquest folder -> click it to aunch game

note: your game client must finish recent updates

I have the launcher running and it's Downloading, it stops downloading at 4,098 Kb of 7088 will your suggestion still work? I'm at work now

sometimes your download will error and stopped
just restart EQ and repatch until all download finish
(at least 10hours if u dont have any copy for EQ)
