Two Sides of the Stone

Beginning:Request NPC: Reklor Irespine
Request Phrase: Willing
Zone in Phrase: Ready
Trigger NPC: Totem in center
Trigger: Whispers

Progression of the Event:The event goes... Phase 1 (Main Room) -> Phase 1 (Towers) -> Phase 2 (Main Room) -> Phase 2 (Towers) -> Phase 3 (Main Room) -> Phase 3 (Towers) -> Phase 4 (Main Room)
Each main room phase is basically identical (as seen below) dropping the boss 25% and it swaps a bit. The 3 tower phases are very different. After completing a tower phase you are ported back to the main room and you have to do the main room phase again in the order listed above.

Phase 1,2,3,4 (Main Room):After activating the event by talking to the totem, the boss will spawn. The boss will switch between Ladrys and Splendor every 70-90 seconds.

The goal in this room is to beat down the Avatar 25% each phase. Phase 1 - 100%->75%, Phase 2 - 75%->50%, Phase 3 - 50%->25%, and Phase 4 25%->Dead. The main room's effects stay constant for all 4 phases.

Whispers of splendor and decay call you to the west and east tower
As time passes, the shades of splendor and decay grow in strength.

Both versions cast Disruption [1] which is an 18k DD + Interrupt spell. If you get interrupted by it your spells get locked out for 10 seconds or so. It is cast in intervals divisible by 5 but in no discernible pattern.

Avatar of Ladrys (Green Robe) Casts:
--Aura of Resplendence [2] - Permanent Aura of 60% Spell Slow
--Purification [3] - AoE 29k DoT, 50% slow + fizzle adjust

During Ladrys' stage he will have an aura spell-slow on the entire room. Along with this adds spawn that look like random players in the raid that they spawn next to
1 x an inner darkness

Avatar of Sholoth (Purple Robe) Casts:
--Wave of Filth (Every 40s)[4] - AoE 41K DD and Melee silence

During Splendor phase blobs of darkness will spawn. They pulses Sludge[5] a 52k DD + 5k Mana Drain and snare. Meaning you must move out of these as soon as they spawn otherwise you will die in 2-3 tics or less if you weren't full health/are undergeared.

Phase 1 (Towers):The raid will split up in two. West (Splendor) and East (Decay). Running up to the totem will port you up to the respective towers.
Splendor side will get 1 tank group, 3 melee groups
Decay side will get 2 tank groups, 1 melee group, and 2 caster groups

The goal of this trial is to kill each mini boss in the towers. Getting the mobs out of balance by about 5-10% will cause them to heal around 2-3%. Not following the specified mechanics below (unbuffed and zombied people) causes both minis to heal 25% each time you fail to do so.

Once both minis are beaten you are ported back to the main room and almost immediately the Avatar of Sholoth/Ladrys goes active again.


SplendorVision of Splendor Casts:
--Burst of Brilliant Light (Every 20s)[6] - 17k PBAE DD and pushback, 30 range
--Resplendence [7] - 1 tic Single Silence and 19.3k DoT

This side needs to have 3 raid members who have 0 buffs. Everything that goes into buff or song windows counts. No songs, no Circle of XXX clickies, no group spires / epics etc. etc.


DecayShadow of Decay Casts:
--Rot [8] - Root + 24k DoT (30 Corruption). It triggers the spell below after 2 tics (when it fades)
---Decaying Flesh [9] - 16k DoT + Melee slow (30 Corruption). When cured Zombie Rot [10] is reflected on the player.


This side has to have 1 player with Zombie Rot on them at all times. Using Splash or Purify type effects will remove the Zombie Rot which is BAD. You only will want to cure with spells that remove counters not detrimental. If no player has Zombie Rot , Vision of Splendor heals.

So you want to let Rot run its course then CURE Decaying Flesh

Phase 2 (Towers):The concept is the same as the 1st Phase of Towers. Kill minis and keep balance. The mechanics changed though, you will need 1 of 2 audio triggers (depending on which tower you are in).

SplendorRed is where you will zone up to, Yellow is the tank spot. The numbered areas are the platforms where totems spawn for curing. Same concept as before, handle and follow the specific phase mechanic (curing Filth) and kill the mini to get ported back to the main room.

Vision of Splendor Casts:
--Filth (Every 25s) [11] - 2 tic 39k DoT, cast on 3 different people every 25 s. See below on how to cure.
--Purification [12] - AoE 29k DoT, 50% slow + fizzle adjust

Every 30-60s adds will spawn. Peel off the boss and DPS them down then get back on the boss.

1 x A pure essence

This side will have 3 people called out every 25s who must get a debuff cured within 2 tics. The way you do this is by hugging a totem which can spawn on four different platforms in the room (they have a glass circle as a base)

Vision of Splendor shouts 'Single, Athel, and Daldaen: Cleanse yourselves of the filth that clings to your souls!

Failing to cure your emote in the 9-12seconds you get will heal both minis 25% and yield this trigger:

Vision of Splendor shouts 'NOOB is still covered in filth!

DecayShadow of Decay Casts:
--Wave of Filth (Every 30s)[13] - AoE 41K DD and Melee silence

Every 30-60s adds will spawn. Peel off the boss and DPS them down then get back on the boss.

1 x A cesspool

This side will have 3 people called out every 25s who must get a debuff cured within 2 tics. The way you do this is by hugging a totem which can spawn on four different platforms in the room (they have a glass circle as a base)

Shadow of Decay shouts 'Ailyena, Oakenn, and Mccoley must throw themselves from the tower as a sacrifice to Sholoth!

Failing to cure your emote in the 9-12seconds you get will heal both minis 25% and yield this trigger:

Shadow of Decay shouts 'NOOB failed to make the sacrifice!

Phase 3 (Towers):The concept is the same as the 1st Phase of Towers. Kill minis and keep balance. The mechanics changed though, you will need 4 players on both sides to pass books.

The strategy is the same for both sides. One person on each side will be given a book and the raid will be told who is given the book. This person needs to right click it to hand it off to one of the 4 people in your 'chain'. Basically clicking the book gives you a 2 tic DoT/Silence (see below for specific by trial). When this debuff ends, you get another debuff on you, Strained Voice [14], which basically means you cannot have the book passed to you.

Example:

time = 0 -- Person A clicks book to Person B. Person A gets Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay for 12 seconds.
time = 6 -- Person B clicks book to Person C. Person B gets Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay for 12 seconds. Person A's Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay are down to 6 seconds.
time = 12 -- Person C clicks book to Person D. Person C gets Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay for 12 seconds. Person A's Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay are done and they now have Strained Voice for 6 seconds, and Person B's Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay are down to 6 seconds.
time = 18 -- Person D clicks book to Person A. Person D gets Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay for 12 seconds. Person A's Strained Voice just ended (That part is crucial, whoever you click to CANNOT have Strained Voice), and Person B's Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay are done and they now have Strained Voice for 6 seconds and Person C's Prayers of Purity/Chant of Decay are down to 6 seconds.


SplendorVision of Splendor Casts:
No Spells

The book passers on this tower will get Prayer of Purity [15] (Silence + 11k DoT / 900 Mana Drain) when clicking the book.

DecayShadow of Decay Casts:
No Spells

The book passers on this tower will get Chant of Decay [16] (Silence + 11k DoT / 300 End Drain) when clicking the book.


Book Passing Phase

Each side, Decay and Splendour need 4 people to do a chain of casting. Once the starter of the chain for each side has the book they click the book (inventory clickable) to the next person in the chain. Clicking the book gives the clicker a 11s red dot (forget name) which then turns into a 11s silence, both of these are red icons. Once the 2nd person has the book they wait about 3 seconds and then click it on the next person in the chain. As does the next person until the final person in the chain has the book, this is where the event actually starts. The idea is to keep the silence portion on someone at all times. So the final person in the chain looks to the first person (who they're passing to) to see if they have a red icon buff. If they do not then a click is made starting the chain over. There is no need to tell another person to click, each person must be watching the one they are passing to for a red icon.
